Napier Spoonbill-Estuary Birds Photography Workshop Experience For 3 People (2 people needed for trip to run)

Join me for an unforgettable birding expedition to the stunning Hawke’s Bay – a true haven for bird enthusiasts and nature photographers alike. This exciting 2 day adventure takes you off the beaten path and into the heart of New Zealand’s most breathtaking coastal and estuarine ecosystems.

Highlighting the Majestic Spoonbill, we’ll track these elegant, long-legged beauties as they wade gracefully through the wetlands and ponds, offering ample opportunities to capture their unique silhouettes and feeding behaviour in golden light.

But the journey doesn’t stop there.

We’ll explore local estuaries and pristine beaches, streams, prime habitats for some of New Zealand’s most iconic shorebirds. Keep your lens ready for the delicate Pied Stilt, the elusive Dotterel, and the uniquely curved Wrybill – the only bird in the world with a beak that bends sideways. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a curious newcomer, these species will inspire awe and challenge your eye as we get up close (respectfully!) to observe and photograph them in their natural splendor.
