The Raptor Photography Experience $1499 per person (2 person max)

Join me for the Raptor experience, a unique two-day tour dedicated to photographing and learning about New Zealand’s native birds of prey.

Day One: Into the Forest

You’ll gain exclusive access to a private sanctuary, where we’ll spend time photographing the elusive morepork (ruru)in its natural forest environment. This intimate setting offers a rare opportunity to capture this nocturnal owl in a peaceful, wild habitat.

Day Two: Wingspan Visit

We’ll start the morning with an early morning Harrier Hawk shoot before heading to Rotorua to visit the renowned Wingspan National Bird of Prey Centre, home to vital conservation work focused on protecting and rehabilitating New Zealand’s raptors, especially the powerful and agile New Zealand falcon (kārearea). You'll have the chance to photograph these incredible birds up close while learning about their behaviours, habitats, and the efforts being made to ensure their survival.
