What our photographers say

"I literally fell in love with raptors after seeing John's stunning hawk, owl and falcon images online. After going on bird photography workshops with him, he taught me how to approach the raptors and line up ideal backgrounds that made my images far more appealing to the eye.

John is highly skilled in understanding lighting and shadows, his personality is calm, very focused and naturally generous. John has a unique way of imparting his knowledge and photographic abilities that made me feel so much more confident working with raptors. The avian and conservation knowledge he shares is phenomenal, making him a highly sought after birding photography guide and coach.

I fully recommend booking a workshop or one to one session. He is a genuine kiwi bloke that practices what he preaches, your photography skills will be elevated to a level you never thought possible." STEPHEN FREEMAN
